Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has established and inaugurated a sports club known as the “GEJ Sports Club” which he noted is intended to groom young talents into professionals.
Speaking yesterday at the inauguration of the facility located in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State, Jonathan called on stakeholders to join hands with the club to nurture young talents in Nigeria and across Africa.
According to him, his plans are for the club to host different indoor games, expressing optimism that once the project is completed, the facility will be able to host some state, zonal and national competitions before the end of the year.
