Hon. Afam Okoreke, a director in Nollywood and the Former Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Okereke was said to have been kidnapped on his way to Port Harcourt on Saturday
The family of Okereke has been contacted by the kidnappers but they have not mentioned any amount for the ransom.
When Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Daniel Ndukwe was contacted, he said that the information is not yet in his table but promised to do the needful.
Afam Okereke, Nollywood front line film maker was appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in 2021.
