The members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Enugu North Local Government of Enugu State, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the State Leadership of Dr Ben Nwoye as well as the caretaker committee Leadership of Hon Sunday Eshiokwu and Comr Sebastine Okafor.
Arising from a Local Government caretaker Executive Committee MEETING on Sunday, a meeting that had in attendance, the Ward chairmen and Secretaries of the Party across the 13 wards in the Local Government Area, the Party Members through concurrent motion MOVED by Onwosi Samuel from Udi siding ward 12, Mr Iroh Kingsley Chinedu from Ọnụ Asata ward 4 and supported by Uwakwe Elias, GRA ward 7, the Party members exclaimed that they have always been carried along in the party’s events by their Party Leaders.
“We are Blessed with truthful leaders that drives joy in saying the truth”
“They are always at the front, fighting for the overall interest of the Party Members with tenacity and unquantifiable might”
“We are solidly behind Dr Ben Nwoye for he has always been a chairman that coordinates and delivers”
“Those calling for his head, should allow their own to be hanged first because, they are part of the problem of this Party and thus, should burry their head in shame”
“We pledge total support to Dr Ben Nwoye’s Leadership and will always stand for him”
“we cannot be deceived again, they brought candidates who disappeared with our election funds despite faking to have love for the city”
“They are the enemies of the Party Scheming for another bountiful 2023 harvest but, we will never allow it to Happen again”
They frowned at what they call “cheap deceit” that was perpetrated on them by those enemies of the Party through some trusted Party members namely Louis Okolo and Kingsley Ijoma, who they said, wanted to coerce them into signing an unknown Document after inviting them for a friendly tete a te at The Gates Hotels, EKULU Estate Enugu.
“We are shocked that, these people can go to an extent of bribing people to use us to blackmail Ben Nwoye, it is very wrong”
“WHat they called solidarity visit that we made was adjudged because, we were calles by Louis Okolo and Kingsley Ijoma (Eze nwata) to visit them some where for a get together, only to be given a Sheet of paper to sign”
“Ben is our person and we cannot go against him
” We hereby thank our caretaker committee chairman, Hon Sunday Eshiokwu and his Secretary, Comr Sebastine Okafor for their steadfastness in the Party ”
