ANAN Enugu Branch Elects New Executive Committee Members

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Enugu Branch, on Monday, 7th October, 2024 elected her Executives.

ANAN Enugu Branch Newly Elected EXCOS

The election was conducted by a three man Election Committee delegates from ANAN National Office, Abuja under the leadership of the Vice Chairman, Benevolence Committee, Dr.Tonye Apiri, FCNA.

 

The election, which was free, fair, and transparent, was conducted in a very congenial atmosphere, and the following members emerged as the officers:

 

Chairman: Mrs Fidelia Udeonu, FCNA

Vice Chairman: Dr Paulinus Ossai, FCNA

Secretary: Mrs Lillian Orji, FCNA

Assistant Secretary: Dr Kate Ene, FCNA

Treasurer: Mr Kevin Okwor, CNA

Financial Secretary: Dr Chioma Atogu, FCNA,

while Dr. Sir Cyprian Okoro, FCNA was elected the Publicity and Social Secretary.

 

Other officers include Prof Uche Ugwuanyi, FCNA, immediate past chairman of the Association and current Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Enugu State University of Science and Technology was elected as Ex-Officio 1 and Chief Kenneth Echefu, CNA of Central Bank of Nigeria, Enugu Branch as Ex-officio 2.

 

The new Executive Committee Members were immediately inaugurated after taking oath of office by the Vice Chairman, Benevolence Committee,Dr Tonye Apiri, FCNA. The new Executive Committee will pilot the affairs of the noble profession for the next 2 years.

 

In her acceptance speech, on behalf of other elected executives, the Chairman, Mrs Fidelia Udeonu, promised to run an inclusive administration and thanked members for the confidence reposed on her and other executives. She promised to amongst others, work toward completing the Enugu Branch Secretariat Building initiated by her predecessor while ensuring that members benefit from the Land Acquisition Scheme being worked out in partnership with Enugu State Housing Development Corporation(ESHDC)
